I’ve been thinking.
A lot of about that these days.
My life.
Like, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Fortunately for me.
I have decided.
To not think.
About the bad parts.
How do I do that?
Because I CHOOSE to.
Just like you.
YOU have the power!
I firmly believe.
That’s why so many people.
Are absolutely miserable.
It’s because they are still living in the past.
They haven’t been able to turn the page.
So they keep living the same life.
Over, and over, and over.
Getting more miserable.
As time goes by.
Is it easy?
Hello no!
Is it worth it?
Absolutely!

Think about that.
What does that mean to you?
To me.
It means.

I give myself the freedom.
To think how I want to think👈👈👈
To wear what I want I to wear!
To do the kind of work that I want to do!
To spend my time with whoever I want.
And not with who other people.
Think that I should be spending my time with.
Love whoever I want.
Again.
Not who others think.
And most importantly.
Be the kind of person I want to be👈👈👈

That’s why I keep my circle small these days.
Like.
Super small.
Less drama.
Less bullsh*t.
Less worry.
See.
To be in my circle.
You don’t have to think like me.
But.
You also can’t think like everyone else.
Also.
No judgement.
No gossip.
No talking about other people!
Small people talk about other people.
Smart people talk about ideas.
The landscape of my life!
I was just speaking with my friend Wendy yesterday.
And we were both saying.
The reason we get along so great.
Is because.
We are both very open minded individuals.
Also.
We are both business minded people.
So we can bounce ideas off one another.
And we don’t worry about being judged by the others.
Those are the kinds of relationships you need in your life.
People who make you feel like sunshine!
If you have friends like that in your circle.
Consider yourself lucky.
Because.
Trust me.
Those people are hard to come by.
And those people are the kind of you WANT in your circle!
It’s not about quantity.
It is about quality.
Good friends are like good outfits.
It’s better to have five good friends.
Just like it’s better to have five good outfits.
Then ten so so friends.
Or.
Ten so so outfits.
Quality > Quantity!
LIFE.
That is so damn accurate☝☝☝
And the more entrepreneurs I speak with.
That’s how they feel as well.
Someone told me years ago.
When I first started my business.
That entrepreneurship was a lonely business.
I didn’t really get that at first.
Only.
After a couple of years of being in business.
It struck me one day.
How accurate he was.
And to be clear.
I’m not lonely.
I am alone.
Two totally different things.
But.
It’s all good.
When I’m deep in thought.
In my work.
I’m in my flow.
As Gary Vee calls it.
It’s MY happy place.
And I love it!
It wasn’t until I realized.
I was spending great amounts of time.
By myself.
Because as a solo entrepreneur.
That’s how it works.
And you know what?
I still love it <3
It’s my new lifestyle.
And it’s funny.
People always ask.
Don’t you get bored?
Never.
I literally have more to do than time to do it!
And yes, I know.
We all have the same 24 hours…blah blah blah.
I’m one of the hardest working people I know.
And I still don’t have enough time.
To do everything in a day.
And, that’s okay.
Because, everyday.
I’m giving it all I got.
Some days I hit it out of the park.
And some days I don’t.
And that’s ok.
Because I show up everyday.
Let me ask you?
How do you think everyone felt.
When I opened my business in 2012?
Do you think people were like, ‘Wow, that’s awesome?’
Or.
“I’m so happy for you Patti, you’re going to do just great.”
No, they were not!
Let me warn you.
If you are going to pick a different path.
Than those around you.
Don’t expect people to be.
Super supportive.
That’s why it’s so important.
To believe in yourself.
And you stick to it like glue.
Bees to honey.
Don’t be like Alice in Wonderland.
Where any road will take you.
You need to know your path.

Seriously!
I’ve noticed over the years.
People have a tendency.
To water themselves down.
So as not to shine so bright.
And it always makes me wonder.
WHY?
If you have it.
Flaunt it.
Especially since.
The world needs it.
Now more than ever.
True GREATNESS comes from taking chances!
Chances that “most” others would not take!
If you think about it.
How are you going to know how far you can go?
If you don’t push yourself.
That’s what you call out-of-the-box thinking!
Unfortunately, most people do not think that way.
Most people.
Like to just keep doing the same thing.
Year in and year out.
Because it’s safe.
Only living a save life.
Isn’t going to get you where you want to be.
One step at a time babe.
No one expects you to take on everything.
In one big chunk!
That’s not how it works.
You chip away at it.
One day at a time.
One chip at a time.
Sounds kind of crazy.
Only that’s how it works!
Oh.
And, don’t worry about HOW it’s going to happen.
It just eventually does.
To be honest.
It wasn’t until I started my own business.
Years ago.
That I started living life on my terms.
And giving myself permission.
To think different.
Actually.
It’s not that I wasn’t already thinking different.
It’s just that my life wasn’t aligned with my thoughts.
But, once I started my business.
It all came together.
That’s why it’s called a process.
It doesn’t happen over night.
AND.
You have to wait.
Until your actions come together. NineFrogs Daily QUOTE OF THE DAY:
I always knew I was meant for more.
I just wasn’t sure what THAT thing was?
So, once I started my business.
And started.
This NEW path.
It all came together!
But like I said.
It took a long time.
To all come together.
And. I have news for you.
It’s still a process.
Here is something I want you all to know:
“EVERY DAY IS THE SPECIAL OCCASION.”
If you woke up this morning.
It’s a special day!
So stop putting off until tomorrow.
Do the work.
That makes you happy.
Get a new hobby.
Take that class you’ve been thinking about.
Move to that new city.
Open your heart to love again.
Make a career change.
Open up your mind.
To new ways of thinking
Be with the people.
That make you feel.
Like sunshine.
Go on adventures.
Write beautiful stories.
Take risks.
And then notice.
How The Universe.
Will open up to you!
That’s so true!
Dare to be whoever you want to be!
And make sure you share.

The world needs it now more than ever 😉
