I don’t know about you.
But.
I lead a busy life.
And.
I do full makeup and hair everyday.
I need to make dressing as easy as possible.
So.
I wear black.
Then.
It’s easy to accessorize.
Plus.
I believe.
It gives a women.

I know it’s me!
So, let me ask?
What makes you wear black all the time?
Sure, they say it makes you look slimmer.
But, it’s more than that👈👈👈
I find it adds a bit of mystique to a woman.
Something that says:
‘I would love to know.
What is going on in her head.
Because I bet she is very interesting.’
Yes, that’s what wearing black does to a woman🔥🔥🔥
Just because.
We are in the midst of a pandemic.
That is still not a good reason.
To not look your best.
Because, if you are not looking your best everyday.
You certainly aren’t doing your best everyday!
Dress your best everyday.
And see how life changing it can be!
I’ve said that like a million times.
It is FAR better to be over-dressed than under-dressed.
Arrive over-dressed,
And you are guaranteed to be the life of the party.
Alternatively.
Arrive under-dressed.
And you will feel like hiding out in the ladies room all night!
I told this story a couple of years ago.
My friend invited me to her country club (casual country club).
Anyway.
I was in the ladies room.
Checking myself out in the full length mirror.
Making sure my dress was hanging where it was supposed to be.
All of a sudden.
This woman (that I did not know) comes out of the stall.
Stands right next to me.
Looks in the mirror.
And then says…
‘you know, this is a CASUAL party, you DIDN’T HAVE to wear a dress.’
I should add.
She was wearing a lovely pair of pants.👈👈👈
See, that’s the power of over-dressing!✔✔✔
And I wasn’t even wearing a LBD.
As I recall, it was some floral summer dress.
Only.
That woman felt so intimated because of the way I was dressed.
That’s what you call power in dressing👈👈👈
And.
I.
Should.
Add.
That is not the first time.
Nor.
Will.
It.
Be.
The.
Last.
That’s the thing about wearing black.
Even if you are over-dressed, it still doesn’t matter.
I wear black all the time.
Because, I can dress it up or dress it down.
All I have to do is change my makeup or jewelry.
And I have a whole new look.
It’s much easier for me to work with on a daily basis.
I don’t know about you.
But I lead a busy life.
And I do full makeup and hair everyday.
So I need to make getting dressed as easy as possible.
And, dressing in black works for me!
