How come change is never easy?

I love when people say that!

Seriously!

We know change is never easy.

That’s why today.

I am sharing.

My list of things-to-do this Summer.

NOT your ordinary to-do list.

But let’s be honest.

We are living in not ordinary times.

So, time to be creative.

This is my list for you.

A list to enrich your soul.

Which, by the way.

I figure we can all use at his point.

After the last year and half.

Read it.

Then, pick the things that really resonate with you.

Enjoy your Summer!

Remember, it will be over in a hot minute.

So enjoy every second!

Be Happy!

After the events of the last year and a half.

It’s time to be happy again.

Even if things aren’t perfect.

Even if we aren’t back to ‘normal’.

You still deserve to be happy.

So if you put that one on the back burner.

Now is the time to bring it forward.

And, while you are at it.

Let your happiness shine out of your face.

Like the brilliant creature that you are!

Plan a trip (even if it’s for a day).

Now is the time to get out of your place.

And go on an adventure.

Even if it’s only one town over.

Think of a place you haven’t been to in a while.

So, whether you hop on a plane.

Train.

Or automobile.

Get yourself out there.

And take yourself on an adventure.

For me it’s Montauk.

I haven’t been there in forever.

And it’s one of my favorite places on earth.

I think it’s absolutely wonderful out there!

So, I’m making sure I get out there this Summer.

Connect with Mother Nature!

She is AMAZING!

Whether you dip your toes in the sand.

Or, walk barefoot in the park.

There is nothing more soothing to the soul.

Than connecting with Mother Nature.

Whether it’s sand, grass or dirt.

There is nothing better to brighten your soul.

Than connecting with Mother Earth.

As my friend Helene says when she has a problem.

“Whether you are planting flowers.

Or, pulling weeds.

Mother Nature knows just what you need!

Bonus points if you live near the oceans.

If so, sit on the beach, toes in the sand.

And breathe in the salt water air.

Have fun (work will always be there).

Seriously.

You’re allowed to have some fun and not work 24/7.

I should talk 🙂

I’m doing it.

Making time to have fun again.

Going out.

Meeting up with friends.

Doing things I’ve been wanting to do.

And it’s Summer no less.

So now is the time to be FABULOUS!

Yes!

Dare I say it.

But you already know I would.

Because I just about have smiling on every list I make.

Yes. SMILE 🙂

We can all see each other’s faces again.

So, make sure you have a big, brilliant and amazing smile on yours!

Seriously.

Because, there are still so many who can’t seem to find theirs.

So, you owe it to everyone around you.

To share yours with them!

Reconnect with Family & Friends!

A lot of us haven’t seen some family and friends for quite some time now.

I just saw my brother and sister-in-law last weekend at a family wedding.

And I can’t tell you how good it felt to be around family and friends again.

Like, we were dancing!

Like, how it used to be.

Which is kind of weird even saying?

So, plan some get-togethers with people you haven’t seen in a while.

I know I want to reconnect with a lot of people I haven’t seen in a bit.

And I know it will be amazing!

Eat good food and drink more water.

Yes.

Because you deserve to feel FABULOUS!

And how do you get to feel fabulous?

By eating good food.

By drinking more water.

And, by moving your body.

We’ve all been stuck home for a long time.

Now is the time to get out and stretch your legs (so to say).

Seriously.

You don’t have to join a gym.

Or, sign-up for tennis lessons.

Just get out and move.

On your way to both feeling and looking AMAZING!

Do something you’ve always wanted to do!

Seriously.

Do something that’s been on your to-do list.

Only.

You’ve never actually done it.

Maybe you didn’t have the time.

Maybe, you weren’t sure you had the skills.

Maybe it is something that scares you.

(If that’s the case, you should DEFINITELY DO IT).

As for me.

I’m doing two things.

In this crazy world.

Where there seems to be a lot of chaos.

Look beyond.

And don’t get caught up in it.

Don’t let it suck you in.

And that goes for people too.

Don’t get sucked into other people’s drama.

Let me remind you.

Because YOU.

Are too brilliant and wonderful.

To be sucked into anyone else’s drama.

If you want to shine bright (which you do).

You need to be the light!

And remember.

Mindset is everything.

Accept it and move on!

And remember.

Everything is a choice!
