The list goes on and on.
Sometimes it takes a huge mis-step.
To find your happiness.
Like that (fill in the blank).
That you’ve been holding onto.
Even though it doesn’t make you happy.
But you’re afraid to ‘let go’ of it.
For whatever reason.
Even though it makes you miserable.
Again.
Maybe it’s a relationship?
Maybe it’s a job?
Maybe it’s where you live?
Maybe it’s your mindset?
Yeah, a lot of people don’t consider that last one!

And this is where you need to be.
Real honest with yourself.
As in, what are you willing to give up.
In order to be HAPPY?
Do you know how many relationships.
I had to give up to find my happiness.
Both friend-wise and relationship-wise.
Many!
But I’ll tell you this.
I’m a whole lot happier.
And more at peace.
Than ever before.
I also moved earlier last year.
Talk about being unhappy!
I literally could not wait to move!
One of the best decisions ever.
For myself and my family.
Was it easy?
F*ck no, it was not.
Was it worth it?
100% x 100!
And I am happy to report.
We’re all a lot happier.
Another BIG way people lose their happiness.
Is by giving the keys to their happiness.
In someone else’s pocket.
Don’t do that!
EVER!
It’s your happiness.
And you are in charge of it.
So for the love of God.
Do not give it away to anyone!
That’s it!
That’s the kind of attitude.
You need to have.
And you need to have it now.
Not tomorrow.
Not next week.
Now.
Now.
Now.
If Wonder Woman were here.
She would tell you the same thing.
Because she knows.
Happiness is an inside job.
So, stop saying tomorrow I’ll be happy.
People love doing that.
Putting off their happiness.
Like they are going to live forever.
Because they don’t want to face.
Whatever it is that is making them unhappy.
So instead.
They wait.
For someone or something.
To make them happy.
People.
That’s NOT how it works.
YOU make YOU happy 🙂
I know, I know.
I know how it goes from here.
These are some of the excuses I hear:
“When I fall in love again I’ll be happy.”
“I’ll be happy when I’m out of debt.”
“When I get a new job I’ll be happy.”
“I’ll be happy when I lose weight.”
“When I get a new house I’ll be happy.”
That’s a big one!
And a total waste of time.
The list goes on and on!
Here’s my advice:
STOP WAITING!
Seriously, be happy now!
No person.
And no thing.
Is going.
To make you happy!
Only YOU can make YOU happy!
Seriously!
Other people can ADD to your happiness.
But trust me.
If you aren’t really happy.
No one else can MAKE YOU happy 😉
As I said, happiness is an inside job!
Do you really want to be happy?
Give up all the sh*t that weighs you down!
You know.
All the sh*t that we put upon ourselves.
The things we’ve been holding onto.
For far too long.
Let it ALL go.
And.
Don’t be surprised.
If you find yourself.
Feeling light as a feather!

You should give up on that dream as well.
Life does not have to be perfect.
In order for you to be happy.
As a matter of fact.
Who’s life is perfect anyway?
No one I know.
And.
I know a lot of people.
Like a lot.
And not one of them.
Has a perfect life.
Even very wealthy people.
Have problems.
So stop putting off your happiness.
And stop waiting for:
Friday.
The weekend.
Your next vacation.
Or, anything else.
That you put off.
Until you find your happines.
While you’re at it!
Isn’t the truth!
Most great things.
Are preceded by chaos.
And once again.
Don’t lose your happiness in there.
No matter what is going on in your life.
Keep your mindset.
Fixed on happiness.
Now.
That doesn’t mean you walk.
Around all day with a big smile.
On your face.
It’s a mindset thing.
Work on that!
That makes me happy!
Because I know.
If I don’t get a seat at the table.
I’ll make my own table.
And invite who I want!
In fact.
That’s pretty much.
How I roll these days!
No invitation.
No problem.
I’ll make my own table.
Yeah babe.
That kind of mindset.
See, that makes me very happy.
Knowing my worth.
Knowing my power.
Knowing I’m in charge of MY destiny.
And, once you have that mindset.
It’s like a superpower.
And you will see.
That so many people want it.
And they should.
Because, true happiness.

And if someone doesn’t have it in them.
They’ll want it from you!
Trust me guys.
That is the truth!
Only you can make you happy!
