“When it’s only Wednesday!” But you wish it were Friday! (9.3.18)

The odd thing about the often long and lonely path of life, Patricia Bokowski, is that when you get to the end of it and look back, you’ll find that it was neither of these.

When it’s only Wednesday!

But, you wish it were Friday!

Yes.

That kind of week.

But.

That’s okay.

Today, I’m sharing a great story.

The story of Mary Kay Ash.

Who.

When most people are ready to retire.

Started her business.

See, it really is never too late!

So I have BIG news to share!

I recently opened a shop on Amazon.

As many of my clients are still reluctant to go out shopping.

I decided to bring my favorite fashion finds to everyone.

Take a look: https://www.amazon.com/shop/ninefrogs

Full disclosure, I make a commission.

New items added daily.

Thank you for shopping with NineFrogs!

Mary had a vision.

And.

She waited until she retired.

And used her retirement money.

To start her Mary Kay Costmetics business.

And little did she know.

How very BIG her business would get!

“Don’t let the negatives of life control you.

Rise above them.

Use them as your stepping stones to go higher

than you ever dreamed possible!.

Yes!

Mary Kay Ash.

The first Queen of Makeup!

Truly!

She was truly a pioneer for women.

Mary Kay started her May Kay cosmetics business.

Back in the 60’s with a small investment.

And a lot of enthusiasm.

In her first year of business.

Mary Kay turned a profit of over $1,000,000.

Mary Kay’s philosophy was simple:

“treat others as you want to be treated.”

Mary Kay was known for her love of the color pink.

Yet another reason I love her.

And used it in everything.

From her product packaging.

To the pink Cadillacs.

She gave away to big earners in her business.

Mary Kay sincerely loved her consultants.

(her term rather than sales representatives).

And once said, “People are a company’s greatest asset.”

Today, we celebrate Mary Kay👈👈👈

“Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign

around his or her neck that says,

‘Make Me Feel Important!’

Not only will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life!”

Mary Kay Ash

“The speed of the leader is the speed of the gang!”

Mary Kay Ash

“Always give people more than they expect to get!”

Mary Kay Ash

“Do not inspire to fit in.  Desire to lead!

Mary Kay Ash

“God didn’t have time to create a nobody…just a somebody.

I believe that each of us has God-given talents

within us waiting to be brought into fruition!”

Mary Kay Ash

“Dare to grow into your dreams and

claim this as your motto.

Let it be me!”

Mary Kay Ash

“A good goal is like a strenuous exercise — it makes you stretch!”

Mary Kay Ash

“Fake it till you make it!”

Mary Kay Ash

“Ideas are a dime a dozen.

People who implement them are priceless!”

Mary Kay Ash

“Watching women achieve their dreams is the thing that keeps me inspired!”

Mary Kay Ash

“It is far better to be exhausted from success,

than to be rested from failure!”

Mary Kay Ash

“You can do anything in this world that you want to do,

if you want to do it badly enough!”

Anyone who has been reading my blogs.

Knows, I am a lover of quotes.“How can I move on?” (9.1.2021)

Which is what inspired me to write today’s blog.

I love Mary Kay quotes.

Mary Kay knew how to inspire her people.

She knew the philosophy of sales.

But more importantly.

She knew how to grow her leaders.

With grace, and pink Cadillacs.

She was ahead of her time.

That’s why I look up to her.

Did you know?

Mary Kay was in her 60’s when she started her business?

Goes to show you.

You are NEVER too old to start something new.

She used her retirement money to start her business.

Turns out.

It was something she always wanted to do.

Not everyone would have the nerve to do that.

But she wasn’t just anyone.

She was a motivated woman with a dream.

We can all learn from Mary Kay. NineFrogs Daily QUOTE OF THE DAY:

It is never too late, or too early.

To go after your dreams.

There are no excuses.

Everyone just has to figure it out their own path.

And.

Do whatever it takes to make it come to fruition!
