Let’s see.
I don’t even know where to start?
Let me share some of MY more memorable dates…
There was the guy who stalked me before we even had our official first date.
Then there was this other guy, who literally talked for an hour straight on our first date.
I met him at Applebee’s.
And yet another guy I met for lunch at the Dix Hills Diner.
Who had told me he was divorced.
Only to find out, he lied.
Over lunch.
He said he thought after I met him I wouldn’t mind.
He was wrong 🙂

Oh, and the guy I met at Applebee’s.
Actually, this was my second Applebee’s date.
It’s a good place to meet.
Lot’s of people around.
And easy to make a quick exit if needed.
Anyhow.
This guy looked nothing like his picture (must have been from ten years prior).
The really funny part about this particular date.
Prior to meeting.
Like say, two hours.
He sends me a text saying: “no hard feelings if we don’t hit it off.”
To which I responded, “no problem.”
So, I meet him in the reception area of Applebee’s.
And as I stated.
He looked NOTHING like his picture!
So, as he’s talking, in my head, I’m surveying the situation.
Weighing do I go in and have a drink with him to be nice?
OR, do I just leave?
Because, I knew I was never going to see him again.
I mean, he did say, if we don’t hit it off…
So I left.
To say he wasn’t happy would be an understatement!
He told me it was the rudest thing anyone had every done to him.
I highly doubt that!
See, here’s the thing about this on-line dating thing.
If you lie.
It’s going to come out.
Like the people who don’t put a picture up.
They send you a message.
Saying: “Oh, you’re cute. I’d like to get to know you.”
Then I reply: “Where’s your picture?”
They then send me their picture.
And I’m not attracted 🙁
And now I’m a b*tch because I don’t like his picture.
That scenario happened so many times.
I just stopped answering anyone’s message.
If they had no picture posted.
Lesson learned.
But, my absolute favorite dating story was…the guy who told me he was a vampire.
That’s right!
A vampire!
You don’t hear that everyday!
It’s too long a story to go into here..
Plus, if that guy ever saw I wrote about him.
He probably wouldn’t be too happy with me.
Also, I don’t want any future dates thinking I’m going to write about them in one of my blogs.
I mean.
I still want to date 😉
That’s just a sampling of some of my stories.
I have many more.

Not for the faint of heart.
You have to be a soldier of love.
I swear 😉
So, for all you people out there.
Wondering why your single friends are still single.
Now you know.
And I haven’t touched upon the whole ‘sex’ situation.

From all the dating apps and just work on you.
Take you to lunch.
Go to the spa.
Who doesn’t love shopping.

That’s the reality of relationships.
Only it seems these days.
Most people don’t want to put in the time.
OR the commitment to do so!
And then, of course.
We have the people.
Who are ALWAYS looking for someone better.
Yes.
I’ve run into a few of those along the way.
The signs are clear.
Dating 2021!
Sometimes people walk into your life.
And you think they are a ‘keeper’.
And then, they walk out of your life.
Let them!
We don’t CHASE ANYONE.
We don’t beg for someone to stay.
We don’t text long text messages asking them to come back.
Once they disrespect us.
That’s it.
They are OUT!
That’s the kind of attitude you need to have these days.
Because if you don’t.
They will walk right over you!
Yes.
As long as they don’t snore😉
Look, we all have our lists of qualities we want out mate to have.
But, some of you all have gotten out of control with your wants.
I’m not saying you need to settle.
Absolutely not.
But, some people need to gain a little perspective.
And they wonder why they can’t find a date?
My advice.
Which is how I do it!
Toss your list and be open to who comes into your life.
You might be surprised.
Exactly.
No need to make a fuss.
Just walk away.🖐🖐🖐
The days of drama over a relationship are over.
We’re all busy.
Working on our careers or businesses or families.
We have no time for drama.
If it works.
GREAT!
And it not.
We walk!
And here is my message.
For the people who dropped out of the dating game!
You know who you are!
Time to get back in the game!
If you genuinely want to meet someone.
It’s what you need to do💖💖💖
You can’t sit on your couch looking at your vision board.
Waiting for your perfect somebody to come knocking on your door.
Not gonna happen.
Besides.
We don’t wait for anyone!
I so believe that <3
Don’t get so caught up in your next relationship that you forget about you.
