Let me tell you something.
Forget what your mother told you.
And don’t listen to those fashion magazines either.
You wear what YOU want.
And, I don’t care how old you are.
I mean.
People.
Have you seen what people are wearing out there?
I mean.
Seriously.
It’s no wonder there are so many unhappy people.
Because, there is no way.
You can be happy.
When you are looking like sh*t!
Like.
I firmly believe that you.
Cannot find your happiness.
If you don’t like what you see in the mirror.
And you certainly can’t,
Fulfil those dreams of yours.
If you aren’t dressing for success!
And here’s another thing.
Stop worrying about what others are wearing!
Or doing I might add.
Wear what makes YOU happy.
That’s what style is all about.
Showing the world who YOU are!

Quite honestly.
I know there will be those who disagree with me.
But, you’d be wrong!
Your image says everything about you.
And I don’t mean WHAT you are wearing.
I’m saying, HOW you wear it.
People can tell.
What does your body language say?
Making eye contact?
How about the energy you bring into the room?
So yes. NineFrogs Daily QUOTE OF THE DAY:
You can have anything you want in life.
If you dress for it!
I equate looking good with happiness.
Because, I don’t think you can have one without the other.
It’s like.
You’ll never see a happy person.
With a negative attitude.
They just don’t go hand-in-hand.
Same with dressing.
And being happy.
So, go on and put on something that makes you happy!
One of my favorite lines I love to use in my business is:
Life is too short for boring clothes.👈👈👈
Only, I mean it.
You got one shot at this life.
Dress for it.
Seriously.
Especially as you get older.
I see that all the time.
Women wearing certain kinds of clothes.
Why do so many women wear pants all the time?
I mean, even in Summer?
Funny true story:
I went to a party at a Beach Club about five years ago.
I went to the Ladies Room.
And I was fixing my makeup in front of the full length mirror.
I should add, I had a dress on.
This lady walks into the Ladies Room.
Takes one look at me (I told you, people stare at me).
And announces: “This is a casual party, you didn’t have to get dressed up!”
BTW, I was not dressed up.
I had on a pretty Summer dress with sandals.
Totally Summer casual.
It was just that I made that lady feel uncomfortable.
Because SHE was Uncomfortable.
With what she was wearing.
That’s what I’m talking about.
If you love what you’re wearing.
No one is going to make you feel uncomfortable.!
NO ONE👈👈👈
You have to ask yourself?
Does wearing this make me happy?
BTW.
Everyone should be asking themselves that question?
Every day when you get dressed.
Look in the mirror.
Do you like what you see?
Does it make you feel fabulous?
If not.
Ditch it.
For anyone who doesn’t know.
I am a Fashion/Lifestyle Blogger.

One question I get asked often is?
You must buy a lot of clothes.
And the answer would be, no.
I don’t.
Why?
Because I like to keep it simple.
I have maybe 7-10 outfits.
Especially now that it’s Summer.
Makes life easier.
Shower, makeup, hair…pop on a dress.
Think Mark Zuckenberg and Tom Ford.
Mark wears a tee-shirt and jeans everyday.
Tom Ford wears a black suit everyday.
Why?
It’s one less thing to worry about in the morning.
But.
I make sure I LOVE every outfit I have.
Whether it’s black, blue or brown.
Wear the color(s) that makes YOU happy.
Not anyone else.
YOU.
When I take people out shopping.
For my Personal Shopping Experience.
I always ask my clients.
To try on clothes/colors they don’t normally wear.
And you would be amazed.
How often they are shocked at how much they love it!
As for me, during the Winter I wear mostly black.
But once Summer comes.
I’m all about vibrant colors.
Again, think.
What makes me happy?
And then wear it!
You know the line, ‘feel good, look good.”
When you are feeling good about what you are wearing,
It shines right out of your face like moon beams.
So this Summer.
Do yourself a favor.
And buy yourself a few new outfits.
Outfits that make you happy 🙂
And, BTW, buy them soon.
Because after the 4th of July.
Everything will be on sale.
And all the fall clothes will be coming in.
My personal philosophy.
When it comes to my wardrobe.
I’d rather have 5 outfits that I love.
Then 10 outfits that are so so.
Quality over Quantity.
That’s where accessories come in.
It’s a fabulous way to change-up any outfit.
That goes for shoes and bags as well.
Although, tbh, I don’t.
And yet, everyday I walk out my door.
I feel happy with what I am wearing.
Rule #1 when it comes to dressing.
F*ck what they think.
Wear what makes you HAPPY.
To this day.
I still have people who stare at me.
My hair.
My outfit.
My makeup.
Does it stop me from being me?
NEVER.
I just keep being me.
And you should just be you.
Fabulous.
Wonderful.
You.
As I said earlier.
There are no rules when it comes to dressing.
Other than.
Wear what makes YOU happy.
And if you are happy with what you are wearing.
Cool.
Stay with that.
But.
If you are not.
You can change that at any time.
Same with your hair.
You are allowed to cut it at any time.
It’s YOUR hair.
I hear so many women who comment on my hair.
How they wish they could cut theirs.
Answer: You can. You’re allowed.
A woman once told me she’d love to cut her hair short.
Only, her husband would kill her.
SAD.
So, her husband was keeping her away from being happy.
Because he doesn’t like her with short hair.
WTF is that about?

Here’s the thing.
Stop dressing for others.
And start dressing for you.
Dress in a way that makes you happy?
Seriously.
Because if you look in that mirror.
And you don’t like what you see.
Then you need to change that asap!
